Pre-Application Consultation

 On behalf of Urban Centric (Cardiff) Ltd, a planning application is to be submitted  for the redevelopment of Crawshay Court. The application site is located at 6 Curran Road, Cardiff, CF10 5TG.

  

The proposal is to demolish the existing building and erect a landmark building (going up to 25 storeys but predominantly 20 storeys) to accommodate 194 residential units, a A1/A3 unit, 30 car parking spaces, a roof terrace, and an area of public realm.  The planning application description is as follows:

  

'Apartment building with ancillary areas, parking, public open space, A1/A3 unit(s) and a residents roof terrace'  

 

Under the Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (Wales) Order 2012, the applicants consulted all owners / occupiers of land adjacent to the application site, ward Councillors and statutory consultees and, displayed a site notice. The consultation period of 28 days took place between 3 June and 1 July 2019.

 

Please note that this is a separate process to the consultation that the City of Cardiff Council will carry out when the application is formally submitted.

 

The consultation is now closed. Representations are currently being considered by the applicants. The proposals will be finalised in due course and a formal planning application submitted to Cardiff Council in the near future. Responses will be summarised and commented upon with in report to accompany the planning application.
