Savills Terms for using [Savills Residential Investor Hub] – an investor database provided by Savills
This Investor Database, Savills Residential Investor Hub (“SRIH”) website is provided by Savills plc of 33 Margaret Street, London, W1G 0JD (Savills). Savills is a trading name of Savills plc. By using SRIH you consent to the terms and conditions below. In the terms below, “we”, “you” or “we” means Savills as the context requires and “you” means the entity using SRIH.
By ticking this box, you agree to allow Savills to store and process your details within SRIH and contact you as per Savills’ privacy policy. You can opt out of the SRIH communications at any time once you have logged into the website.
1 Using the SRIH
1.1 You are signing up to the closed investor database called Investor Hub on the basis of the terms and conditions below, as provided by us and which is separate to all other databases operated by us. Once we have accepted your application to use SRIH we will provide you with a unique log in. You are not allowed under these terms to share these log in details with anybody else.
1.2 We will send you UK investment opportunities as and when they are available via SRIH, and you will be able to log into SRIH to access further details. We will also from time to time provide you with research and access to events/webinars as and when available through SRIH.
2 Disclaimer
2.1 Whilst reasonable care is taken to ensure that the information contained on SRIH is accurate, we cannot guarantee its accuracy and we reserve the right to change the information on SRIH (including these terms and conditions) at any time without notice. You must check these terms and conditions for changes each time you intend to use SRIH.
2.2 We provide SRIH on an "as is" basis and makes no representations or warranties of any kind with respect to SRIH or the content contained on it (including any text, graphics, advertisements, measurements, links, or other item) and we disclaim all such representations and warranties. Any areas, measurements or distances are approximate. The text, photographs and plans are for guidance only and are not necessarily comprehensive. It should not be assumed that the property has all necessary planning, building regulation or other consents and Savills have not tested any services, equipment or facilities. Purchasers must satisfy themselves by inspection or otherwise. Opinions expressed on SRIH are not statements of fact. In addition, neither we nor any other contributor to SRIH make any representation or give any warranty, condition, undertaking or term either express or implied as to the condition, quality, performance, accuracy, suitability, fitness for purpose, completeness, or freedom from viruses of the content contained within SRIH or that such content will be accurate, up to date, uninterrupted or error free.
2.3 Nothing on SRIH shall be regarded or taken as financial advice. The information contained on SRIH may not be relied upon in connection with any investment decision. We suggest you seek independent financial advice prior to making any investment decision.
2.4 SRIH is only available to persons in the United Kingdom and nothing within SRIH shall be deemed to be a solicitation to any person outside the United Kingdom and must not be acted upon by such persons.
3 Indemnity
3.1 YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR THE WAY YOU USE SRIH AND ALL THE RESULTS AND INFORMATION YOU OBTAIN FROM SRIH AND THAT ALL WARRANTIES, CONDITIONS, UNDERTAKINGS, REPRESENTATIONS AND TERMS WHETHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, STATUTORY OR OTHERWISE ARE HEREBY EXCLUDED TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
3.2 Save in respect of liability for death or personal injury arising out of negligence or for fraudulent misrepresentation, we, and all contributors to SRIH hereby disclaim to the fullest extent permitted by law all liability for any loss or damage including any consequential or indirect loss or damage incurred by you, whether arising in tort, contract or otherwise, and arising out of or in relation to or in connection with your access to or use of or inability to use SRIH.
4 Intellectual Property
4.1 The copyright in SRIH and its content belong to Savills. You may not make a permanent copy of or reproduce SRIH or any of its contents in any form. You may not reproduce or incorporate SRIH or any of its contents into any website or other form of communication. You may only print or cache temporary copies of SRIH content for your own internal business use.
5 Interruptions in providing SRIH
5.1 Whilst we take every care to ensure that the standard of SRIH remains high and to maintain the continuity of it, the Internet is not always a stable medium, and errors, omissions, interruptions of service and delays may occur at any time. As a result, we do not accept any ongoing obligation or responsibility to operate SRIH (or any particular part of it).
6 Confidentiality
6.1 You agree that you shall not disclose any information you find on SRIH (Confidential Information) to anyone else except as permitted below. You may disclose Confidential Information to any director, officer, employee, contractor, or adviser, of the company you work for who needs to see it on condition that you ensure these recipients comply with this clause 6.
6.2 Confidential Information shall not include information that is already publicly available or is already lawfully in your possession, or information that you obtained from a third party who is free to disclose it.
7 Invalidity
If any part of our terms and conditions is unenforceable (including any provision in which we exclude our liability to you) the enforceability of any other part of these conditions will not be affected.
8 Links
SRIH contains materials which may have links to third party websites over which we have no control. We can assume no responsibility for the content of third-party websites or for any losses which may arise out of use of a third-party website. The presence of a link to a third party does not necessarily mean that we endorse that site or have (or have not) any association with the proprietor of that website.
9 Governing Law
These terms and conditions and your use of SRIH are governed exclusively by English law and any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms and conditions and your use of SRIH shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
